Chapter 42
---------------
Conflicting writings about the followers of Moses, attributed to Abdu'l-Baha. Last updated: May 22nd, 2024.
Passage 1,
attributed to Abdu'l-Baha, conflicts with a number of writings of
Baha'u'llah, Muhammad, Jesus, and other writings of Abdu'l-Baha (see for
example, passages 2 - 9 at following link). It
conflicts with the requirement for true believers to recognise Manifestations of God when they appear. This appears to be another writing whose authenticity and chain of custody should be investigated..
1)
"Moreover, materially as well (as
spiritually), the Israelites will gather in the Holy Land. This is
irrefutable prophecy, for the ignominy which Israel has suffered for
will-nigh twenty-five hundred years will now be changed into eternal
glory, and in the eyes of all, the Jewish people will become glorified
to such an extent as to draw the jealousy of its enemies and the envy
of its friends.
(According to information received by the
National Spiritual Assembly of the United States several years ago this
Tablet was revealed by the Master in the year 1897 to a Jewish
Community in the Orient: Bahá'í News. No. 250. December 1951. p. 5)

6. O SON OF EARTH!
Know, verily, the heart wherein the least remnant of envy
yet lingers, shall never attain My everlasting dominion, nor inhale the
sweet savors of holiness breathing from My kingdom of sanctity.
